Great Backyard Bird Count Hike
Sibley State Park
Feb. 18, 2023
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

It’s time to be a citizen scientist. Join the interpretive staff on the Pondview Trail to identify and count as many birds as possible for the Great Backyard Bird Count. We will be meeting at the Sibley Interpretive Center.

The Pondview Interpretive Trail is a 0.7-loop with a maximum 7 percent grade for 190ft.

Please bring your own binoculars if you have them. If you do not have a pair of binoculars, please contact Savannah at the Sibley Interpretive Center to borrow a pair from the park. There is a limited number available.

If you can’t join us on the trail, please consider dropping by the interpretive center to check out a birding kit and turn in your count at the end of the day.
