Gatewood Farm is a fourth generation dairy farm located about 12 miles Southeast of Willmar, MN. We grow corn, oats, and alfalfa and have 100 acres of pasture. Just about everything we grow goes right to the animals we raise. We have the dairy cows, beef steers, sheep, goats, chickens, peacocks, a pony and even a donkey. We had a vision of running an on the farm store and hosting events to connect people to the farm. In 2016 we began selling meat from the farm which began the business of Grandpa’s Granary.

Grandpa’s Granary provides local, naturally raised meats. All our meat is processed at local USDA inspected facilities. We sell individual cuts of meat including beef, lamb, and whole chickens. Occasionally we offer beef halves and quarters. We also have farm fresh eggs and ground flour and cornmeal available. We sell directly from the farm as well as at the Willmar farmers market on Saturday mornings during the summer. We do not have store hours set at the farm. We simply ask that you contact us before coming out to the farm to ensure that someone will be available to assist you.

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date on sales and events as well as updates about life on the farm.
