The Woman in Cabin 10 is a 2016 psychological thriller novel by Ruth Ware about a journalist, Lo Blacklock, who witnesses a woman being thrown overboard from a luxury cruise ship, only to find that all passengers are accounted for. The story is a classic whodunit set at sea, where Lo must investigate the disappearance herself while dealing with her own trauma and the indifference of others. The book was inspired by Ware’s own cruising holiday and the eerie feeling of being isolated at sea
