Located minutes from Willmar on beautiful Green Lake (purest in Minnesota) makes this a prime recreation area. Whether it is for ice fishing, snowmobiling, the sand beaches across the street, boat access or shopping, you are within reach at the Northern Inn. Three great restaurants within walking distance, including the American Legion and Melvin's on the Lake. Our friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms are sure to keep you coming back time and time again.

Reservations
All reservations are to be guaranteed by either a credit card or deposit of 50%. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance (holidays and special events excluded- please call for details) Full charges apply for the first night with any remaining nights cancelled, if cancellations are made less than 48 hours prior to arrival date. Fourth of July reservations have a 7 day cancellation notice, and Sonshine Festival has a 30 day cancellation notice required. Both of these will also have the first night charged and any remaining nights cancelled if policy is not followed. Call 800-941-0423 to make a reservation.

Pets
Pets are welcome for a small extra fee. Please let us know in advance while making your reservation if you will be bringing along your pet. Call for more details and specific rules concerning pets.

Check in / out times
Check in is at 3 p.m. while checkout is at 11a.m. $20.00 fee for early check in or late check out based on availability only. If checking out past 2 p.m., it is a full day charge.

Payment Types
We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover and cash (with a minimum $50.00 damage deposit). Personal checks are no longer accepted.

Security
Our 24 hour desk offers the peace of mind and security you should expect. Exterior doors to the building are locked from 11 p.m. - 7a.m. where hotel guests may only enter with their key. Interior corridors are well lit 24 hours a day.

Smoking/Non-Smoking Rooms
We have a high standard for keeping our non-smoking rooms clean and do enforce fines of $100.00 to those who smoke in our non-smoking rooms and other non-smoking common areas. All common areas, including the pool and lobby, are non-smoking.

Parking
There is a large lot to hold trailers and a large lot across the street for overflow parking.

Extras
We have playpens if needed at no extra charge. We also have on hand at the front desk - extra ironing boards, irons, and hair dryers.
