​Join us for the 36th Anniversary New London to New Brighton Antique Car Run
August 10th-13th, 2022

SCHEDULE:
Wednesday, August 10th – Chappell Central of Willmar
This morning the tour will start from our registration spot at Peace Lutheran Church in New London. We will tour Chappell Central’s fabrication and manufacturing plant. Chappell Central is one of the largest heating, cooling, fabrication contractors in west central Minnesota. Lunch to follow. The evening get together will be at Neer Park in New London. Our renowned shore lunch with walleye and all the fixings will be served.

Thursday, August 11th – Bug-Bee Hive Resort, Paynesville. This morning the tour will also start from Peace Lutheran Church. This lake resort started in the 1920’s and has remained with the same family. Bug-Bee Hive Resort is a year-round resort/lodge and event center. Come tour this resort located on beautiful Lake Koronis. Lunch to follow. The evening “meet, greet, and eat” will again take you to Peace Lutheran Church in New London. We have invited our volunteer tow drivers to join us, so you will have a chance to meet and exchange information.

Friday, August 12th – 36-mile warm up tour before the big day, scenic tour around Nest and Green Lakes in the New London area in the early afternoon after the morning brunch and drivers’ meeting.

Saturday, August 13th – 120+ mile tour of beautiful Minnesota countryside, 5 rest stops in communities along the way, finish line finale and award ceremony in New Brighton, part of the Stockyard Days festival.

Sunday, August 14th – 35th Annual New Brighton Car Show and Swap Meet at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton where Stockyard Days continues.

HISTORY
The New London to New Brighton Antique Car Run began in 1987 during New Brighton’s Centennial Celebration.

PARTICIPATION
The New London to New Brighton Antique Car Run is a 120 mile tour of the Minnesota countryside. The Run starts in the rural town of New London and makes its way to New Brighton.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All vehicles up through 1908 and any 1- or 2-cylinder vehicles up through 1915 are eligible to participate. This includes bikes, motorcycles, steam, and electric cars as well.
