About Monongalia Historical Society and Museum

Housed in the historic Lebanon Lutheran Church in New London, the museum has an array of unique items, including a linotype newspaper, handmade wooden tools and a wicker undertaker's basket. The genealogical library contains the oldest records in the county, dating to 1859. The 1869 Sakariason cabin is also open to viewing.
