Sibley State Park Fall Color Report for 10-6-16

Fall color is progressing much faster, and most trees are ablaze in color! The ash and basswood trees are at or just past their golden peak. The burr oaks are a shiny bronze. Even the surrounding agriculture lands are rich shades of bronze and gold. Begin at the park’s interpretive center for a park map, then make your way to Mount Tom for a panoramic view of Sibley and beyond. A drive along the Glacial Ridge Minnesota Scenic Byway is also highly recommended.
