Fishing Report For 7-5-16

What a gorgeous weekend we had to be out on the lakes! It sounded like everyone had an awesome time whether they were fishing, water skiing, tubing or just going for a leisurely boat ride. The lakes were spotted with boats all over the county! Northern pike and bass continue to be active on all area lakes as well as the panfish in the 10-15 depth. The early morning walleye bite has picked up on Green Lake in the 30 foot depth. South Long Lake, Wagonga Lake and Big Kandiyohi Lake are also putting out some good sized walleye. Waxworms, angle worms, leeches and crawlers are the bait of choice this weekend for a variety of species.
