Fishing Report for 7-2-19

Hopefully the rain holds out so we can have a great 4th of July weekend full of fishing! Use a jig tipped with a night crawler in about 14 feet of water to find the walleye on Eagle Lake. Fish in the early morning and late evening to find the walleye on Big Kandiyohi, Andrew and Elizabeth lakes. If you’re heading out to Diamond Lake, you’re sure to catch some crappie and sunfish with wax worms or night crawlers. Some large sunfish have been pulled from Lake Florida in the past week as well. IF you’re shore fishing, stick to Foot Lake as Ringo and Calhoun lakes have slowed down a bit. Stay safe and have a happy 4th of July weekend!
