Fishing Report for 6-4-19

It’s a great time to be fishing in the Willmar Lakes Area! Fish are biting just about everywhere. Anglers are pulling up walleye as they troll with bottom bouncers and leeches on Long Lake. Panfish are still active under the bridge and in the bays of Nest Lake. When on Green Lake, look for crappie in the weeds in about the 25 foot depth area. Diamond Lake is a great lake to fish no matter what you’re searching for as they have all been active there including northern pike. For those that like to shore fish, you’ll find active crappie and walleye on Foot, Ringo, and Florida lakes. After today, the weather’s looking great for another week of fishing!
