Fishing Report for 5-14-19

The fish are hungry in the Willmar Lakes Area! Anglers are pulling walleye from roughly 14 feet of water in Diamond Lake. Other active walleye lakes to try would be Ringo, East Solomon, Long, Big Kandiyohi and Foot. Crappie and sunfish continue to bite on Foot Lake and Nest Lake near the bay, but have also picked up on Eagle Lake along the northwest shore. The shallower lakes are sitting at roughly 58 degrees and should become more active as they warm up. For those novice fishermen, stick to the shallows and use a nightcrawler and you should catch some fish.
