Fishing Report for 6-14-16
The sunfish are very active in the Willmar Lakes Area! Reports of nice sized sunfish and a few crappie are coming from most area lakes. Other panfish such as bass and northern pike are also very active on most lakes. Anglers have had to put in a little more effort to catch walleye in the past week, especially on Green Lake. Leeches and crawlers have been the best bait for walleye lately and wax worms and angle worms for panfish. Most area lake temperatures have risen to about 76 degrees in the last week with the heat. Enjoy this upcoming beautiful weekend with some fishing in the Willmar Lakes Area!
