This series takes place in the Willmar Library Community Room (410 5th St. SW) on the following dates from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

Thursday, May 17
“Living With Alzheimer’s: For Caregivers- Middle Stages”
In the middle stage, those who were care partners now become hands-on
Caregivers. Join us for helpful strategies to provide safe, effective and
comfortable care.

Thursday, June 21
“Living With Alzheimer’s: For Caregivers- Late Stage”
In the late stage, caregiving typically involves new ways of connecting and
interacting with the person with the disease.

Thursday, July 19
“Effective Communication Strategies”
Communication is more than just talking and listening. Join us to explore
how communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer’s. We’ll
identify strategies to help you connect and communicate at each stage.

Thursday, August 16
Alzheimer’s Disease is not a normal part of aging. It is time to learn the
facts. This program provides information on detection, causes and risk
factors, stages of the disease, treatment and much more.
