On Friday, September 15 at 10:00 am, Donald Houseman will be reading and talking about the books he has written. Among his books are How Harvey and His Friends Saved the Barn, Harvey and His Friends’ Great Fishing Adventure, Christmas Comes to Harvey and His Friends, and Grandma….How Should I Eat a Pickle? Autographed books will be available for purchase at that time. Make sure to mark this date on your calendar! Also, check out the display case of his books.

Donald is noted for his children’s books, having written, illustrated and self-published four stories. He is also known for his woodcut prints and acrylic paintings. He launched his own art business called “Stuff On Paper” in 2010. In addition to his art work he continues to make presentations to art groups both young and old with Artists in Residencies across the state including: Bemidji, Blackduck, Thief River Falls, Marshall, Byron, Pine Island, Zumbrota, Baudette, Barnum, Parkers Prairie, Warroad and Fargo, ND.
