Turkey Leg 5K Virtual Run
November 26-29th

Uptown Willmar (Kandi Mall) is the original course, but the Virtual Race can be run Anywhere!

We wish we could have the 2020 race in person.  But we are excited to announce our new Turkey Leg 5K Virtual Run/Walk, which will take the place of the traditional Turkey Leg Run in 2020.  The Virtual Race will be November 26-29 and is open to everyone!  If you have already registered for the Turkey Leg 5K you are automatically entered into the virtual race and do not need to do anything further.

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN?
In a virtual run, you will run a 5k which is 3.1 miles, on your own, making sure you follow social distancing guidelines.  Map out a route where ever you are!  Keep track of your time and submit your time using the options below.  Using the Racejoy app is strongly encouraged.

You are encouraged to run the official Turkey Leg course (see Official Course Map link below) but that is not required. That’s it!

WHEN IS THE RUN?
The time frame for completing the run is from November 26-29. You can submit your race result starting 8:00 am on November 26. Your last chance to submit your results is November 29 at 11:59 p.m.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
If you are already registered for the the 2020 Turkey Leg 5K you are automatically entered into the virtual race.  If you have not registered yet, Click Here or click the Sign Up button at the top of the page to register for the Virtual Run.

Registration Closes November 25 at 11:59pm

WHAT DO I GET WITH MY REGISTRATION?

Race kit includes online Finisher Certificate, online Official Race Number, T-shirt and Finisher Ornament.

Premiums:  All pre-registered runners and walkers registered will be guaranteed a t-shirt in their size. If you registered after 11/22/20 your packet will be mailed out a couple of week after the race.  Otherwise plan to pickup your packet 4pm-6pm on Tuesday.

Awards:  In the absence of an awards ceremony we will have ornaments for 2020.  We will include the Finisher Ornament in your race packet.

Race Number: Once you register you will receive a confirmation email which will include a link to your personalized bib number.  You will also be able to print out your bib number by clicking the Find A Participant link on the menu to the left and then click the bib number assigned to your name.  You can also click the View Digital Bib link on your Profile page, when you are logged into your Runsignup account.

Finisher Certificate: For those that submit their Virtual Results you will be able to printout your Finisher Certificate after November 29.
