John E. Trull, business leader and World Vision volunteer, will be the speaker for the February Faith@Work luncheon.

In 1955, when he was three years old, John moved with his family from western Kansas to Colorado. He grew up in Colorado Springs and attended Colorado State University in Ft. Collins graduating with a BS degree in Construction Management in 1974. He married his childhood sweetheart Lila that year and moved to the Bay Area in Northern California to work for a smaller General Contractor. A year later he joined Hensel Phelps Construction Co. where he began a 30 year career as they grew to one of the largest General Contractors in the country, currently doing in excess of $2 Billion in construction annually.

In 2003, John semi-retired from Hensel Phelps to pursue graduate studies at Denver Seminary feeling a call to be more intentional in his Christian walk and study international mission. Currently, he assists Hensel Phelps in Technical and Leadership training, oversees their more than 40 year relationship with Kodak, and has established a safe water development relationship with World Vision in Niger, Africa.
